Netash Inc. is the brain child of Jade Simms and partner Lloyd who share a passion for fashion and in particular new, innovative, fresh and unique designers. The need for more exposure for Toronto designers was the motivating factor that set the pair on an adventure of presenting new talent through a series of shows called the 4 Seasons.

The 4 Seasons Fashion Show at Revival December 10, 2006 was certainly and exemplary display of new local designers presented with a true taste of distinction and current style. A dozen active Toronto designers flashed their garments with over 100 fine models from casual, formal, professional and urban wear. Netash Inc. not only managed to pull this off at a very difficult venue to present due to size, but also created an ambiance of daring flare and fun. Some key presenters were Alexandra Lamontagne, (curent finalist in Now’s Designer Challenge, Evol Williams International (Latin beauty pageant designer), Tia Tanisha, Areta, and Julia Carlucci from Ryerson .

Evol Williams is proud to present his new design company which features a fresh perspective on the cross over mix of sophisticated and urban wear. His garments are specifically for the urban stores with a touch of "chique". Evol’s designs will be included again in the upcoming 4 Seasons show April 1st.

Tia Tanisha is a talented clothing/accessory designer and model who has been in the business all her life. She registered her own business in September of 2005 and sees vast opportunities for her new enterprise. Tia’s advise for model hopefuls is to maintain a tough skin, to be persistant, resilient and to never give up. It’s an extremely competitive market out there, but it is attainable if you do not compromise yourself which can only lead to failure. Stay focused and confident and the industry will bring many rewards.

Netash Inc. has already made a noticeable impact on the new designers participating in the 4 Seasons shows over the last three years. Their goal is to continue providing exposure to innovative up and coming garment and accessory creators in Toronto with a show hosted each season. They would like to extend the production to larger fashion markets and eventually take the designers abroad. Jade recruits designers from local fashion magazines, schools and pretty much anywhere new talent is found. The key is to continue attracting major sponsors, she says, which they are in the process of doing with each opportunity.

When I asked Jade and Lloydhow they managed to coordinate over 100 models in that limited space at Revival including a rap group and a rock band during intermission, they said it was challenging, but you have to be organized far ahead of time. There is definitely a promising future for this vibrant new company which is sure to make a lasting impact on the international fashion market. Good work Jade and Lloyd, and all the best for a bright fashion future.
